This is a special cake I learned to make in Korea, perfect for celebrating a new baby.
It’s especially popular for birth celebrations, 100th-day celebrations (Baek-il), and first birthdays (Dol).

The design can be customized in a traditional Korean style or a Western/natural modern style, depending on your preference.

The cake is made with Seolgi (a steamed rice cake) as the base, and is carefully covered with a layer made of sweet bean paste (anko).
Although the entire cake is edible, many people choose to dry and keep the shoes as a keepsake.

The lesson takes approximately 5 to 6 hours.
Please note: The recipe for Seolgi is not included. Seolgi or a cake dummy will be provided.
