Hanbok Cake
This is a cake I learned to make in Korea, inspired by the traditional Korean Hanbok.
It makes a wonderful gift, especially for parents or special occasions.
You can customize the design with various color combinations, allowing you to create your own unique Hanbok style.
The base of the cake is Seolgi (steamed rice cake), and it’s carefully covered with a layer made from sweet bean paste (anko).
Although the entire cake is edible, many people enjoy the inside and dry the outer layer to keep as a keepsake.
The lesson takes about 5 to 6 hours.
Note: The Seolgi recipe is not included. We will provide the Seolgi or a cake dummy for the class.
